This dry red wine is one of the most well known classic wines from Piedmont. It is made from the grape-variety of the same name, which is one of the first to be harvested. It is aged in small barrels to add character and has a smooth bouquet with a characteristic and intense scent. The ideal companion for hors d'oeuvres, dressed pork products and roast meat. Best served in goblets at a temperature of 18/20°C.
